Needing To Be Needed

One of history’s greatest romances is the marriage of Napoleon and Josephine. It was a turbulent relationship riddled with passion, infidelity, and jealousy. Napoleon, a powerful figure in history, was reduced to a beggar before the woman he loved. He had chosen her from all others, and he couldn’t bear the thought of her needs being met in the arms of another man:
